D&G LGBT Plus is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring that the charity is well-managed in line with OSCR charitable regulations, in-line with our aims and strategic purpose.

If you are committed to our aims, keen to apply your skills at Board level, and able to attend meetings regularly, then please consider putting yourself forward for the role of Trustee.

As a Trustee you would have varied responsibilities and serve a vitally important role within the charity, including;

• Act in the interests of the charity
• Ensure compliance with the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005
• Review details on the Scottish Charity Register
• Report to OSCR: making changes to the charity
• Keep financial records and reporting
• Support fundraising
• Providing information to the public
