We have finally moved out from our old office in Newall Terrace and have moved to Hestan House, which is located in the Crichton Business Park. There are 4 entrances which can be used to get to us, 2 on the Glencaple Road (number 1 + 3 on map) and 2 on the Bankend Road (number 2 + 4).

Our staff and trustees viewed several potential spaces in and around town before deciding on moving out to the Crichton. The main aim of the new space was to increase our accessibility to service users in addition to being able to deliver all our core services from the space. The aim was to try and remain in the town centre for the purposes of bus routes and other public transport, but there were no fully accessible spaces available that were appropriate.


There were three spaces visited, viewed, and considered but were situated on the high street and in the Loreburn shopping centre, but our staff and trustees felt these may be considered too visible for some people wishing to access our services. The new space ticked all the boxes and despite being slightly out of town, it is supported with a regular bus service.

Our office is situated on the ground floor of Hestan House, and we now have three rooms which are exclusively ours. (G1, G2, and G5)

The largest of the rooms (G2) is where our staff office is. This is large enough to contain the office as well as having space for meetings and to deliver small training sessions of up to twelve people.

We also have our Support and Wellbeing area (G1) where our 1:1 support, and other therapies in the future will be delivered. And we also have a new 3rd space (G5) which will be used as our new LGBTQIA+ social space. This will incorporate our LGBTQIA+ library and is also a comfortable space with refreshments and has an office space for our volunteers to work from.

In addition to all this the space also has a communal kitchen and toilet facilities which we share with one other business. We also have the idyllic gardens and grounds of the Crichton to use and there are a number of other businesses and services people could be accessing also.

We will be having a launch event/open day where we will open the doors and invite people to come and see the new space, so keep a look out on our social media for dates for this.
