The schedule includes local up and coming artists and established bands, UK performers and artists who have all kindly given their time to making this event something special for the local community.
We cant wait to see such an eclectic range of talent on our town centre stage, The Plane Stane.

CHANNY
Where all the ladies at? She is stunning and talented...she is the amazing young poptress CHANNY! This up and coming young artist has had an explosive introduction to the UK with her young and vibrant strong vocals proving increasingly popular on the festival circuit and striking a chord within the music scene. Her down to earth North East 'girl next door' personality shines through both on and off stage and this is attribute has drawn a rapidly growing, loyal fan base across the UK.
Her Commercial, Energetic vibe has landed her some impressive support slots for artists such as Sigala, Olly Murs, Nathan Sykes, Scouting for Girls, Dappy, Lucy Spraggan, to name but some.
As an independent artist Channy has hit the spotlight on some of the UK's most established stages, performing at Metro Radio Arena, Bents Park, O2 Arena London, and headlined her own sold out show at the O2 Academy Newcastle's MAINSTAGE.
2017 was an explosive year, with a sold out 10 date UK Tour under her belt, she went on to perform at over 20 Summer Festivals and 10 Christmas Light Switch On's.
Through 2018 CHANNY has been collaborating with high end producers in London on her original music.

From West Yorkshire this young hipster with his poptastic dedicated fanbase should enliven the DG Pride crowd with his energetic performance. His fans, who call themselves 'Screwballs' after the singer's first original release, are growing rapidly everyday all over the UK.

LIV MCDOUGALL
Liv is a beautiful local girl, only fourteen years of age, and singer and songwriter. Liv writes about love, emotions, sexuality and the complex struggles of teenage life. Liv has been rising fast and has played at many gigs and events across Dumfries and Galloway, such as Nithraid Festival and Maidens of music where Liv was one of the finalists. Liv has also performed on the main stage at Scotland's largest music festival this year; so watch out for her on Youtube and Facebook @ Liv MacDougall

PRIDE Super servers wanted
Can you serve with a smile?
Will you waiter / waitress with style?
Can you be a drinks host with the most?
DG Pride are looking for the support of people who are confident to serve alcohol and willing to undergo 2 hours triaing. This will be at the main pride events 'Pride Village' location where people will be seated at tables, benches and chairs. No bar. Point to point service. 15th Septmber, 12pm to 5pm
Free training - 2 hours - to be fully certified to offer our table service only alcohol service in the Pride Village area (Dumfries High street enclosed space).
Training places must be booked as the certificate is a legally binding document allowing us to function within UK licening laws and regulations.
Training will take place:
Tuesday 11th September 4pm to 6pm / 6:30pm
Tuesday 11th September 8:30pm LGBT Centre, Newall House, 22 Newall Terrace
Saturday 15th September 9am - 11am, The Stove, Room 2
Fabulous rainbow sash provided. Great team, laughs guaranteed and staff food drink a given.
